Refund Policy

Refund Policy
This policy explains when refunds may apply for Gopayna transactions, operated by GOPAYNA TECHNOLOGIES LIMITED.

  1. General principle

A refund may be issued only when a transaction fails or value is not delivered, your wallet was debited, and our records confirm non-delivery. Successfully completed transactions are generally non-refundable, except where required by law.

  1. Failed purchases

For airtime, data, electricity, TV, or exam PIN purchases:

We confirm final status with the service provider.
If the order did not complete, a wallet refund may be applied automatically or after review.
Refunds are usually returned to your Gopayna wallet balance.
Check transaction history and receipts in the app.
Processing may take from a few minutes up to 72 hours depending on the provider.

  1. Pending transactions

Some providers confirm orders asynchronously.
Check transaction history and use requery on the receipt where available.
Contact support if status does not update after a reasonable time.

  1. Non-refundable situations

Successfully delivered airtime, data, tokens, TV subscriptions, or exam PINs
Incorrect recipient details entered by you
Change of mind after successful delivery

  1. Wallet funding

If funding fails but your bank was debited, reversal is usually handled by your bank or card issuer.
Successful funding is credited to your wallet for in-app purchases.
